Shruti K. Devineni, DO

Shruti K. Devineni, DO is a Michigan native who grew up in the Metro Detroit area. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate training, where she received a Bachelor's in Science in both Evolutionary Anthropology and Music. She then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Science at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she eventually also completed her osteopathic medical degree. She then returned home to Michigan to complete her Internal Medicine training at McLaren Macomb in Mount Clemens. She worked in primary care briefly before completing her Endocrinology Fellowship at Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences in affiliation with Captain James A. Lovell Veterans Affairs Hospital in North Chicago, Illinois. She is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Devineni practices patient care as a collaborative partnership between patient and physician. She is a strong believer in a holistic, whole-body approach to health care and hopes to pursue formal training in ayurvedic and alternative medical practices in the future. In her spare time, Dr. Devineni loves to travel, hike and learn new recipes to cook.
