Cancer care:
- Herbert-Herman Cancer Center – Our state-of-the-art cancer center is entering a period of significant growth, innovation, and operational transformation. We are advancing key initiatives to expand patient access, enhancing multidisciplinary care, improving clinical workflows, and strengthening our safety and compliance infrastructure.
- Precision Oncology – Precision oncology is transforming cancer care by empowering patients with advanced cancer to receive targeted therapies tailored to their unique tumor profiles.
- Comprehensive Breast Center - Support breast health services at UM Health-Sparrow’s new Comprehensive Breast Center. The center unites services in one accessible location, improving patient experience and eliminating the need to travel to multiple locations for care. Find out more on our Breast Health page.
C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at UM Health-Sparrow:
Give hope to our tiniest patients. The collaboration between C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at UM Health-Sparrow, University of Michigan Health, and Children's Miracle Network, ensures Mid-Michigan children have access to the best possible care.
- RNICU refresh - We are embarking on a transformative renovation of our Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) to create a more family-centered, secure and supportive environment for our patients and their loved ones.
Emergency department renovation:
As our region’s needs grow, we are renovating our emergency department to create more space, improve flow and provide better support for our dedicated medical team, ultimately strengthening the care experience for all.

Helping Hands Fund:
This fund supports UM Health-Sparrow team members in times of crisis. When a team member loses income due to a health issue, accident, house fire, or other unforeseen tragedy, they can apply for monetary support and assistance.
UM Health-Sparrow Mobile Clinic:
This mobile facility delivers healthcare directly to underserved communities throughout the Mid-Michigan region.
